Don't ask Doug, unless you 're witty and/or sarcastic, he doesn't respond. I've asked him numerous, legit Q's and he never responds.
I've actually had him respond to me once. He must of googled his own name and the word pt cruiser, because he found a comment I made offhand on oppo, about how I hoped he didn't crush a pt gt. He said he never would do that to gt's as he actually likes them.
Do this, go to the FP, ask a legit question. Something serious, not a joke; and then ask "oh, is it possible that I get ungrayed?". Try it with different authors too. Some show more compassion then others, :).

I made a witty comment. Doug said his Hummers AC works so well then in parenthesis put (it doesn't have AC!) so I commented that his AC just needed a recharge! Alluding to the article he wrote a couple months ago about that phrase. Then I said can I please get saved from the grey.
I'm beginning not to care, I know what the FP is for it's for generating clicks.

Yeah, I wanted to be ungrayed because every once and a while, I do have a legit question.
I also think you need to be one of the first to post a comment, otherwise you'd be swallowed up by the other comments.
